Willow Farm Berry Wedding

It was a special wedding day to spend with Laura & Alex at Willow Farm near Berry. They’re an awesome couple who feel like family as I have photographed two of Laura’s siblings weddings as well!

I started the day with Alex at a house in Berry and met all his side of the family. After a short drive to Willow Farm and Laura arrived to get ready at the homestead. It was happy mayhem with all her nieces & nephews also getting dressed up!

The ceremony was held under the big fig tree a short walk away from the main farm area. It’s an awesome location with good shade and beautiful filtered light. The official celebrant was Rosemary Johnston but big brother Alex did an awesome job, so nice to have family involved.

Willow Farm is an amazing venue. It’s one of those places that you could spend hours exploring – from the ceremony area near the creek with a HUGE fig tree, to open grass fields, the beautiful homestead with stunning interiors, and the cool old farming barns and machinery… plus the lake! So many good photo locations.

After photos with Laura & Alex we joined the party outside on the lawn. It was a perfect afternoon to hang out with guests and celebrate. As sunset approached I took Laura & Alex down to the lake and we made the most of the last soft light. Heading into the massive marquee for the reception was so much fun. The styling was absolutely gorgeous with table settings and flowers. It was a perfect evening with great food and touching speeches before the dance floor cranked up.
