Engagement Photos

An engagement photography session in the Southern Highlands is an awesome way to celebrate your recent engagement and capture beautiful memories of this exciting time in your life!

We love taking the photos near sunset and can recommend a number of great locations around the Bowral area, from grass fields & gum trees to rocky outcrops with amazing views. 

As well as capturing some beautiful images of you as a couple it’s a great chance to work with me and get some practice in front of the camera before your wedding day. Just knowing a little more about which way to stand, the angle of your body or face, can make for much better photos on the wedding day.

What time of year is best to do the photos? Spring in the Highlands is amazing – beautiful blossoms make for a stunning backdrop to any photo. It can be cool and a little wet at times but mid to late September is ideal for Spring photos. Autumn is one of our favourite times for local photos – the myriad colours of changing leaves is unbeatable in a photo! Gorgeous reds and yellows with soft afternoon light is simply amazing. Any time from late April to end of May is ideal for Autumn engagement or pre wedding photos.
