Karyn & Simon – St Peter Chanel Hunters Hill – Deckhouse Woolwich
Karyn & Simon’s wedding was awesome! The ceremony was at St Peter Chanel in Hunters Hill and reception at the Deckhouse at Woolwich. The whole day was filled with plenty of smiles and laughs as Karyn & Simon are fantastically cool people with some beautiful friends and family – it was a such a pleasure to be capturing it all! We even had a stunning sunset to finish off the day at Clarke’s Point Reserve near the Deckhouse – there are some cracker shots 🙂 You can visit my facebook page here or my main website here.

Elli & Marcus – Curzon Hall
I’m catching up a bit of blogging and it was awesome to look back through the photos from Elli & Marcus’ wedding at Curzon Hall in April. The day was quite wet with patchy showers so as the guests arrived at Curzon Hall there was a serious threat of getting wet, and this kept everyone guessing whether we would be inside, outside, and WHEN will the string quartet arrive?! All this concern was put aside once Elli walked down the aisle to spine tingling vocals by their good friend. The ceremony was really lovely and held in a beautiful setting at the Enchanted Garden at Curzon Hall. Ellie & Marcus…

Katie & Mark – St Bedes Pyrmont – Observatory Hill – Wolfies Italian Village
Katie and Mark had a stunning winter day for their wedding – it’s a great time of year…. as long as the rain & cold stays away. I started early in the day at Katie’s place – the view of the Harbour was amazing and the girls had loads of fun getting ready. It was an early start because the ceremony at St Bede’s in Pyrmont was at 10am. The ceremony went well and we left soon after the ceremony for some location photos at Observatory Hill and the Rocks before the lunch time reception at Wolfies in the Italian Village. It was a fantastic reception with great speeches and…

Wet Weather Wedding Photography Tips
They do say it’s good luck for it to rain on your wedding, but we’re not entirely convinced! Don’t get us wrong, rain is a wonderful thing – especially when Sydney is often so short of the wet stuff – but in most people’s dreams about their wedding day it’s a brilliantly clear blue sky day with not a cloud in the sky. Rain can put a real damper on this kind of perfect weather wedding day, so it’s pays to have a think about what you will do if it rains. Also, from a wedding photography point of view rain can be a real problem and unfortunately it can…

Kate & David – Cerretti Chapel Manly – Taronga Centre wedding
Kate & David had an amazing wedding day! I started with the boys preps and with six groomsmen there was no shortage of laughs. Kate was getting ready nearby in Manly and it was all go with six bridesmaids, two flowers girls, and lots of fun getting ready. The ceremony was at Cerretti Chapel in Manly aka St Patrick’s College – famous for being Nicole & Keith’s wedding ceremony venue but surely Kate & David have claimed this now? With storm clouds gathering we did some location and bridal party photos on the grounds around the chapel before heading to Bradley’s Head. On the car trip there it poured down…

Kate & Alex – St Peter Chanel – Aqua Dining wedding
Kate & Alex were married in late September on a beautiful spring day. The boys got ready in Woolwich and looked very smart in their bow ties. Kate and the girls were just around the corner and the bridesmaids white dresses were stunning. The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Peter Chanel church in Hunters Hill. It’s a lovely location with an intimate feel set on very private grounds. I love the bridal entrance at any wedding – there is so much excitement and anticipation from everyone. Kate and her Dad made quite an entrance and the beaming smile on Alex’s face was priceless. After the ceremony we had…
