Lauren & Michael – Chinese Gardens – Wolfies Italian Village
Lauren & Michael had a beautiful wedding day in December last year! They picked an awesome hotel for their preparations right in the Rocks – the Harbour Rocks Hotel – which is an old warehouse cleverly converted into hotel rooms. Michael looked very sharp and Lauren’s bouquet was succulents which looked amazing. Christina Cleary was on make up for Lauren and did an awesome job as always 🙂
The ceremony was at the Chinese Gardens in Darling Harbour – it really is a beautiful location so after a group shot and family photos we did a quick photo tour of the gardens. Lauren & Michael even got photo bombed by a duck….I’m going to coin this as being duck bombed. It was then onto Hyde Park and then photos around the Rocks as well. We got some great shots with a really fun bridal party….. then with weary feet arrived at Wolfies at the Italian Village, phew!
I really like shooting at Wolfies – the rooms are all old stone with big wooden beams and you have perfect views over the Harbour and the Bridge. The room looked lovely – check out the cake featuring more succulents and an awesome plate / tree hunk it was put on. It’s super easy to do night shots at Wolfies so we popped outside for a few minutes to do these. The reception was a lot of fun with great speeches and an awesome cheese cake cutting. Congrats guys!
