Kitty & Tom – Bendooley Stables Wedding
Kitty & Tom had an awesome day at Bendooley Stables. Autumn is my favourite time of year for a wedding in the Southern Highlands so mid April was the best timing!
One of the great features of Bendooley is the onsite accommodation at the cottages. It’s so easy to be at the venue already – no hassle with cars and transport… just walk to the ceremony! Plus they are beautiful light and interiors for preparation photos.
The ceremony was held on the main lawn near the rose garden. It’s a beautiful location with loads of space and privacy. I love the photo of Kitty being walked down the aisle by her brother – it looks like a very proud moment for him. The ceremony was brilliant with loads of laughs.
Following the ceremony the bridal party wandered around the formal gardens at Bendooley including the old homestead which had some lovely Autumn colour in the hanging vines just starting. The lake is a cool spot for photos and then it was over to the grass field to catch the late afternoon light. It’s called ‘golden hour’ for a good reason – the soft saturated colour is just stunning! I saw some amazing colour in the poplars near the Stables so we captured the very last light then headed in for the reception.
It was a great night – excellent food, moving speeches and awesome dancing to finish the night. We found some time for a few night shots on the driveway… just a brilliant all round!
