Melissa & Scott - The Barn at Leeston Wedding Photography

Melissa & Scott’s wedding was spectacular – it was a brilliant day with amazing farm & country locations and a fantastic group of people.

The day started with a drive from Bowral to Woodhouselee – which is 20mins north of Goulburn – and it was such a thrill to arrive at Leeston. It’s a farm set amongst rolling hills and open country and has a beautiful old homestead where Melissa and the girls got ready. Walking around the rooms was like stepping back in time fifty years. The girls looked stunning and were such a great fun group.

It was a short drive to the small town of Laggan near Crookwell for the wedding ceremony. Melissa arrived in style by horse and cart before a lovely relaxed ceremony.

The bridal cars were some very cool old classics and we headed back to Leeston for photos. The property has so many great places from beautiful trees to old rustic farming sheds – pretty much a photographers dream location.

The reception was held in the Barn at Leeston – a truly stunning venue with so much space and light. The tables and styling inside was spot on looking so elegant. Check out the old rustic cart wheels they found and installed to hang lights and flowers, just amazing.

We ducked out at sunset and made great use of the golden light around Leeston. Barns and golden grass galore, such a treat to capture photos in these surrounds.

The night was topped off with the best man singing a song to the couple and then some frenetic dancing by everyone to the Rich Pitcher a band from Goulburn.
